Monday: 10 a.m. – 12. p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Wednesday: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 12. p.m. & 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Your Contribution
To ensure our clothing bank always has a good selection, we welcome your donations! You are welcome to drop off any items listed under “What We Offer” in reasonable quantities during our opening hours. The clothing drop-off bin located next to the building safely delivers your donations to us even outside of opening hours.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items:
For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept bedding (pillows and comforters).
We cannot accept electronic media or electrical appliances, as we cannot provide a warranty for them.
Infant car seats or child car seats (if these are less than 5 years old, you can easily give them away through classified ad websites)
Bicycle helmets, inline skates, and roller skates
Books (you’ll find a public bookcase at the corner of Langgasse and Kurshausstraße and another at Homburgerstraße 2, across from the Rewe)
Used eyeglasses (please support the organization “Brillen ohne Grenzen”: Drop-off locations are Optik Pähler in Hofheim or Brillenstudio Weck in Kelkheim)

Who receives clothing from the clothing bank?
Holders of a Hofheim Pass or a Tafel card can shop with us for a symbolic amount.
Newly arrived asylum seekers and people in urgent need receive a starter kit without any bureaucracy. Clothing is free for homeless people.

The DRK clothing bank is only able to offer its services thanks to the support of our volunteers. We’re always happy to welcome new volunteers! If you’re interested, please contact our DRK staff or call us at 06192 2077-25.
